I know when you read the title and look at the footage you may sarcastically think to yourself “what a hard job…” Don’t get me wrong I love what I do, especially when I’m shooting beautiful aesthetics, but shooting out in broad daylight especially from AM to PM is no walk in the park, not just because of the heat, but the difficulties of besting the shot. I shoot everything manually so exposure, focus, and of course composition is all being kept under control every time I hit the record button, which is quite a chore in the relentless cast of California sun. But at the end of the day I wouldn’t trade that shoot for the world. It could have been an evening gown shoot or what have you and I would have the same take away. You see, what makes these shoots so fun is that we’ve all become a little family and being apart of the journey of the first ever Miss Philippines USA pageant is something that I will cherish for as long as I live. Being apart of this legacy not only allowed me to meet some great people, but it has brought me closer to my culture and for that I am forever grateful. Enjoy!
